Galentine's Shoot with the Teen Influencer Model Team | Class of 2023

Valentines Day is one of those holidays that is fun to celebrate. What a better way than to get the models together for a GALentine’s Shoot!

The newspaper backdrop was something that was on my list of things to try. How hard could it be? Well it turns out, if you hang it during a week of 100% rain and humidity, it is pretty rough. There is also the fact that sadly, not much news is good news. While the comics has been reduced to a measly page in the Sunday paper, ad space takes up a larger part. Stories of lives cut short and political unrest abound.

But in sharp contrast, there is some GOOD news. The Teen Influencer Model Team is finishing out strong with several awesome girls who will be world changers for sure. It has been such a please to work with them, to watch them grow, to share my love for creating and for baking and help them realize that they are enough just the way they are. They were open to try something new and I believe they grew more confident because of it. Several of the models will be moving on to colleges across the country including Alabama, Davidson, Presbyterian College, Baylor and Kennesaw. Others will be taking a year to grow and figure out what they want their adult life to look like. Our underclassman will be trying out new clubs at school and hopefully becoming influencers for good along the way. Whatever they do, it will be great and they will have me as a cheerleader support them along the way.
